I found GUAJACUM under this rubric in Synthesis:
GENERAL/INJURIES/SPRAIN so it may be usefull in injuries but I have never prescribed GUAJ. as an injury remedy nor heard it frome someone else.

About the second question: It is very usefull remedy especially in cases of rhematism and syphilitic tonsilitis. I have prescribed it and got good results. It is a HMN antipsoric remedy, But it is not well known for us. If it was, probably we would prescribe it more than puls or rhus-t.
