Hellebore

Post by Jean Doherty »

Dear Group Has anyone any experience of Hellebore in depression. I have
used it several times now One young woman with life long severe depression
and inability to ever get act together. Her birth had been delayed
artificially by some means. She however after initial improvement had a
very bad period of time with aggravation of all symptoms and then
improvement to better than she has ever been. Another older woman with
history of life long depression and some of Hellebore's difficulty in
thinking also improved after an aggravation. I try to avoid aggravations
and these people had already suffered enough. I am presently trying it in
another woman who usually responds to Platina but was not doing so and had
become subject to falls an d dropping things. There is an old history of
head injury. I feel I have to tread very carefully as her states are
extreme, depression, anxiety, panic, clinging, demanding etc Any comment
would be welcome Thank you

I used Hell. successfully in a woman who couldn't get it together in that
she had no energy after a miscarriage which she wasn't too upset about. I
gave her Sepia first which did nothing and then the Hell. one dose 200 and
it sorted her out.

Joy This case a woman with rejection as a child, broken marriage ,children
with immense problems whom she can not be successful in mothering Magn Mur
often helpful recently and Kali Mur. The Muriacticum for the mothering
pathology. Before using homoeopathy often admission to Psych hospital on
8 Try[tanol nocte . Quite severe diabetic. Has tried many
anti-depressants Psychiatrist died recently, has not found another .
Relies on me for help. A support ,wife of dead psychiatrist moved away,
feels abandoned I am going off soon which leads to great fear/. Uses
Stramonium occasionally. She has learned to use the pendulum and knows the
keynotes of the various things which have helped. This falling and
clumsiness led me to Hellebore and first dose gave her a great feeling of
peace. In view of past too seems to have aggravated it takes great courage
to proceed. When she rings in state I as best I can to keep peripheral and
try to take answer universe seems to indicate, of course always trying to
identify source of disturbance at that particular time Jean
