Guaiol (Guaiacol), Guaiazulen and Guaioxide [the aromatic oils] and the
resin [resina Guaiaci, main constituents Guaiacon acid], Guajaguttin,
Guaiacsaponine are the principle active ingredients of Guaiacum officinale.
