CST /was [H] Syringomyelia

Post by Dave Hartley »

Hi Don,

When you say that various syndromes are "a death sentence" .. it seems as if
perhaps you've forgotten that BIRTH is a death sentence ;) ..and that death
is the ultimate cure for all disease.
Short of death's cure, however, M.S. and practically every other dis-ease
WILL respond to competent homeopathic treatment, if not to "cure," then to
large degree of palliation; to greatly increased quality of life.

On to your next topic:

CST is potentially useful after any sort of mechanical trauma (especially to
head/face), and often will help w/emotional trauma.
There is an application of the same sort of work that covers myofascia,
viscera (organs) and the entire spine & remainder of the skeletal structure
.. which was practiced by old-school manipulative osteopaths.
(pre-pharmaceutical drug paradigm)

I got some basic training in the philosophy & practice of CST from David
Little's classes on Maui a few years ago, and have continued to study and
practice since.

My favorite CST book is "The Heart of Listening" by Hugh Milne

Some other good material is available thru

(I studied with & did therapy-exchange with a couple of very advanced
students of Michael Shea; some good material.)

http://www.osteohome.com/
(Eric J. Dolgin, D.O., author of some very deep/technical books on cranial
osteopathy)

and even
http://www.upledger.com who claims to have "pioneered & developed CST" when
actually he built on the work of many others before him, most notably Andrew
Taylor Still, M.D. with a great followup assist from William Sutherland,
D.O.
Here's a "PR blurb" from Dr. Andrew Weil on cranial osteopathy
