Aurum [was: Ayuhuasca

Post by Shannon Nelson »

How is it different from the "regular" one? (But if it is prepared in
a way more consistent with Hahnemann's usage, why would the naming be a
problem? I'd be very interested in hearing whether and how the two act
differently?)

It was all recently posted here, and the two-bit synpopsis

It seems a useless and possibly misleading excercise to produce aurum Hahnemanni,
when there is adequate information showing:

1) impossible to produce aurum Hahnemanni exactly; as Hahnemann states his original material contained bout 3.5% unspecified impurities.

2) Burnett has shown that "modern" Aurum @ 99.99% pure shows the same pathogenesis as Hahnemann's original proving.

ergo: there is not any need to try to do what is impossibly anyway.
AND: it just adds confusion.

Caust. Hahnemanni is a whole 'nother scenario; people have successfully made it according to Hahnemann's exact manufacturing notes; it is therefore "THE" Causticum to use, as "improvements" in manufacturing process have resulted in a Rx containing ammonium causticum instead of the original kali causticum.
I have not tried to track down provings of ammonium causticum, but I can read Caust. in any of my favorite MM and know that most of the proving info came from Hahnemann, & go to Hahnemann's "Chronic Diseases" and read the original.
