Wednesday I gave her 3 Silica 200 to be taken over 24 hours.
An hour after the first the area felt very warm and over the next few hours the discharge seemed to stop.
The discharge started again but the same happened with each of the pillules. However the discharge has become paler in colour. Yesterday the area felt battered and bruised for a couple of hours and it started to flow fast again. She doesn't know where it is coming from but thinks it is seeping from where the hard line is and the wound.
Today the hardness is softening and she can sit down more comfortably but there is still discharge especially on sitting and walking.
Analysis - the Silica has done something but since she reckons it stops after the pillule and then restarts it needs to be repeated still. Question is do I stick to 200 or go up in potency even to the 10M as I reckon a 1M isn't dynamic enough.
Comments please!!
Thanks

Problem after op- Update
Re: Problem after op- Update
I personally would have started lower in potency but that doesn't help you
Are you giving it in water, I know you often do use water posology.
But do keep in mind that a wound, if deep enough, will weep, it is a natural and good way for the body to repair itself. if there is no inflammatory pain, temperature, discharge isn't purulent or smells bad, you could say there is no infection (would need a lab test anyway to confirm). If you feel happy with the rx I would stick with what you are doing.
Maybe think about the bellis again?
She should be having follow up nursing care for a wound btw.

Re: Problem after op- Update
Thanks Joy for your reply. The wound has healed - the Calendula did that after the op but as I have already said I wonder if it trapped any infection inside! She is not having any discomfort for her to repeat the Bellis except for the battered and bruised feeling that was there yesterday for a couple of hours.
I actually gave her dry dose but there's no reason why I can't take her round (She is not driving at the moment) a water potency of the Silica 200 and say succuss 5 times and take 5 drops a couple of times a day. I could also give her a Bellis 200 in case the bruised feeling begins again but I think that was the hard line - as she calls it- breaking down.

Re: Problem after op- Update
I have just spoken to my patient. The problem is much better but she is still discharging a little bit where the drain was . She took a dose of the Water Potency yesterday and got a needle like pain so I told her that this was an agg from the rx and if she feels she needs to take another dose to put the 5 drops in 1/ 2 a glass of water, stir and take a teaspoon.
She saw the consultant today who gave her the good news that yet again they have caught it in time and no further treatment is required. He is not bothered about the discharge and said that there is still a little hole where the drain was. He was surprised that she had gone 8 years without a reoccurrence.
She said that there was only a little discharge today so I have suggested that when the discharge stops she takes a couple of doses of the Calendula 6 and uses Calendula cream on the area to close the hole.
I will be seeing her when I return and will consider whether to start of Dr AUR's cancer protocol possibly alternating plussing Lyco and Carc.
