Indigo Children

Post by Dr. Atiq »

Hi everyone.
Can someone guide me to information related to Indigo Children and what this specifically refers to?
I would also welcome guidance on any specific or general remedies for such treatment.

On a laptop the keyboard has a slight vibration - from the hard drive spinning at high revolutions ! :-))
Hi Soroush,
So that's what it is! LOL!
Do you have any info about having your hands in that field? Is there a field from the batteries?
Thanks,
Leilanae

Hi Shannon,

I think the newer flat screen desktops/wall mount are LED screens???

With the laptops, the keyboard "vibrates" or whatever, you can feel "something". Do you know anything about having your hands directly in that field?

Leilanae
The keyboard vibrates?? I never noticed anything like that. But I suppose it must be within the field in any case. Now that you mention it, I don't know about specific issues with the hands being there. Seems like there *would* be tho, with all the meridians and such... The question takes us back to that group of confusing and intriguing little thingies which claim to neutralize (and whatever) electrical fields, or whatever... Or even copper coin taped to the front. (Hah, US doesn't *have* any copper coins any more!!!)
?? Sorry, guess I can't be any help on that one!

I think (?) Indigo refers to a generation of children of who appear to be different than the previous
generation. They are said to be more "advanced". If you google/ixquick indigo children there is
a lot of information.
I would also welcome guidance on any specific or general remedies for such treatment.
This doesn't seem to be something that needs treatment.

“Indigo children” is a name that I think was coined by teacher James Twyman to refer to children he had met and interviewed who were spiritually advanced and precocious, in terms of their perception of world suffering and the universal need for love. I certainly wouldn’t consider it, in itself, a diseased state. Like the word “homeopathy” itself, however, which has inaccurately come to mean “alternative”, “Indigo children” has been adopted in popular speech to indicate large numbers of kids who might indeed need treatment because they are oversensitive, hyperactive, delusional, or otherwise emotionally disturbed. The true “Indigo Children” are a very small number of very spiritually enlightened souls.

sunflowers do not exist. But the local farmers have already planted
thousands of seeds, and when they look at the bare hills, they may be
able to see the sunflowers already. The sunflowers are there. They lack
only the conditions of sun, heat, rain and July. Just because we cannot
see them does not mean that they do not exist."

Hi,
Wouldn't such children need a special upbringing to fully blossom
their gift? I think of the Dali Lama, or the avatar, Krishnamurti,
who was found living in an impoverished India family and given a
special education in England. Kim Elias gave the example of his
homeopathic case requiring Atheusa because he felt so "separated from
his native culture" was Kim's interpretation. Devoted to animals
because he is too abstracted to be devoted to humans. He is devoted
to the ideal image of human. Hippocratic face, reuptions on tip of
nose seem to fit the pictures of Krishnamurti. Not sure. Seems odd
that Krishnamurti's homeopathic case is public knowledge.
In the Autobiography of Yogi, Yogananda gives the example of twirling
in a circle and walking in the direction that he staggered in to bump
into the door of a household that had just given birth to a child.
Yogananda's dear yogi friend had just died and he was sure that he had
been reborn into the body of this child. That was why Yogananda was
twirling in the first place. He was looking for his friend's rebirth
(reincarnation in a very literal sense). The child was observed an an
avatar and later devoted himself to service through yoga. Who knows?
Blessings,
Ellen

Hello Atiq,
There is a link to the Indigo website from www.kryon.com . There is also information on the Kryon website, specifically in the Q & A section about Indigo children. It is my experience that they are all rather individual, many very creative and often misunderstood...(some diagnosed autistic) - just like everyone else, treatment would be on a case by case basis.

You will also find a listing of books on their website: www.indigochild.com

Have fun,
Carita

Dr Atiq, I do believe there was a much earlier discussion about this subject on this list several years ago. You might want to do a search in the archives for it. Joy

Great summary, Rosemary!
While I'd *gathered* that it refers to children who are "spiritually
advanced and precocious", the first two books I (tried to) read on the
topic were so fatuous and "a little (however weird or disagreeable)
child shall lead us" that I got disgusted and couldn't read more. Ih
my observation *some* people have used the term just to refer to any
kid who doesn't like school or "being told what to do", often in ways
and for reasons that very much *do* need some kind of treatment or
"modification".

In the book I found so annoying there was one section that I found
useful, which recommended diet high in e.g. omega 3s, low allergen,
etc. But Atiq, as to remedies to consider, honestly I think you'd just
have to go by the symptom picture and etc. And perhaps be in the
unenviable position to deciding which parts of the (presumably
inconvenient) picture might be due to "special" characteristics that
need to be nurtured but cannot be cured, and which are the areas where
perhaps remedy(s) can give the child greater resilience or etc. I
don't think the essential qualities of "healthy" are different in
either group!

Shannon
