Perhaps you are thinking of preeclampsia, which is limited to pregnancy.

Eclampsia is used in homeopathic literature somewhat synonymously
with convulsions and in many old cases the descriptions include what
almost sounds like epileptic fit .. in persons who aren't epileptic.

One of the things thats handy for homeopaths is a medical dictionary
from around 1850, and maybe another around 1900.
