Arg.Nit.

Post by vennardwilliam »

If a subject conforms very closely to the mentals, cravings, hates heat, but lacks 2 of the physical symptoms i,e no problem with excessive flatulence,no history of any opthalmia, conjunctivis or any other eye irritations ,would this lack of symptoms contraindcate use of thi remedy?

Generally speaking, with a strong mental/ emotional correspondence to a
remedy, I'd expect that at least several of the most characteristic physical
symptoms of the remedy would be present, but you'll rarely find ALL symptoms
of the remedy present in one patient at the same time, since diseases go
through stages, and not all stages are present at the same time. On the
other hand, a really congruent mental/ emotional picture that reminds you of
a remedy will not indicate that remedy if the physical picture really
doesn't correspond significantly in some ways with the remedy picture. Hope
helpful.

It doesn't contraindicate, but the facts as mentioned should urge you to
reconsider the remedy, because mentals + cravings + warm/cold sounds
like/could be too small a base for a remedy choice.
(And in *my* opinion, Arg. nit. isn't really a common remedy, so I would
need strong confirmation before giving it).
