Rubric: fear of condition being observed

I'm looking for a remedy for someone who has an intense fear/panic state from
seeing a mouse. Can't even pick up the dead mouse to put in garbage...has to
call someone..me. Of course i think of calc carb. I did give it to her in 30c
years ago..but it didn't put a dent in the mouse fear. This person also a
"secret" life of smoking cigerettes which she hides from everyone..even her
best friend..except me.(I'm the mother-in-law )and her husband. She sees
herself as the wise one among her friends..the one who gives good advice. But
when she is having marital problems in her life...she won't share even with
her best friends...who have had their share of marital woes and they share
with her. She will give advice but never shares any of her own issues. I know
because one of her best friend has told me this. Plus..even with me she tries
to mimimize any problems..keep a stiff upper cheerful lip. I wondered if that
above rubric fits ...that she doesn't want others to see any problems in the
condition of her personal life? Also...though her house might be messy
normally..with 3 kids...if her mother comes to visit..she cleans the entire
house and even straightens things up in her upstairs bedroom dressers...a
place her mother would never go to. If that rubric doesn't fit here...where
would that rubric fit?

Hi Carol,
So the question is "what does she feel like if her condition were observed?" That might take you deeper to the level that actually describes what her sensitivity is. The you can explore that even more. So maybe she fears ridicule or embarrassment or being outcast. etc. Then let her describe that more.
