bleeding in brain - after dental treatment?

I was just speaking to the wife of someone who may be coming for treatment. 2.5 months ago, he got sudden left-sided pressure headaches which got worse, within 3 days became unbearable, he landed up in emergency and they found bleeding in the brain. They operated, couldn't find caused, relieved the pressure and closed. Several days later they found that he had bleeding again and did another intervention. He's had many tests, and the doctors can't figure out the cause.

I asked her a lot of questions looking for a trigger. The docs think he must have hit his head, but they insist that he didn't. He's a closed person apparently who's very relaxed and easy going (although from the sound of it he bottles things up a lot). But incidentally she mentioned he'd been going through 6 months of intensive dental treatment just before the headaches started. The treatment included several extractions, root canals, crowns etc., and was going on at a rate of one session a week.

Can that kind of intensive dental work, especially with the large amounts of local anaesthetics involved plus other drugs etc., lead to bleeding in the brain? Has anyone heard of such a thing? I did find something on the internet about brain abscess following local infection, where dental infection was given as an example, but haven't found anything clear.
