Yoga help for Autism- Super brain Yoga

Hi All,
I am in India and especially south India, where all boys were (and still are) asked to do a special sit up in front of our first deity- the elephant faced Ganesha, holding both the ears by the opposite hands. Sometimes, in school and at home that was also one mode of punishment ! We were asked to do in multiple of tens according to the magnitude of the mischief or academic inadequacy.

But now, research is showing its effect on synchronizing both the hemispheres of the brain. It is now taught to mentally challenged children. And I see in it one of aids in the treatment of autism.See the video at

Also some college students in India have taken an initiative in spreading the scientific aspects of all 'such' rituals.

Finally, my own (off topic) bit on this. I did this blog about two years back explaining the symbolism of the Ganesha worship. Those intrigued by the above two might see this to complete the picture.
