Dear Members.
Regarding repeating remedy, can we repeat Bowel nosodes in solution form
like LM remedies?

Re: Bowel nosodes
People have different ideas about "repeating" remedies.
In no event is it a good idea to indiscrimanently repeat remedies.
LM's... MAY be repeated (and so may any other potency)
"AS NEEDED" (a small book could be written on this topic alone)
.. and when given in liquid posology, it is to be desired to find an
indicating symptom or two which will ameliorate after dose, then begin to
return as dose is beginning to wear off.. which is the time to
repeat/redose.
Bowel nosode should be no different, just be sure you're prepared to assess
any aggravation or accessory symptoms -see:

For a concise review of remedy reactions, aggravations, vs. true "healing
crises"

Yes, as needed, as indicated. But now and again the materia medicas give us
information as in Phos - should not be given too low or in too continuous
doses and likewise for Lach - doses ought not to be repeated too frequently.
(Boericke). As for the bowel nosodes Paterson warned not to repeat a bowel
nosode given in high potency within 3 months but if necessary select from
the list of associate remedies. He also warned not to use ANOTHER bowel
nosode after the first has been prescribed. But Griggs used to r epeat low
(12) x4 a day fro 3 days or until improvement is established. And contrary
to the advice of Paterson he used proteus cm one dose daily in some cases
for 3 days and claimed success.

Re: Bowel nosodes
Much of what is in the materia medicas is just (mis)information that was
wrong when it was first recorded and which remains wrong to this day. Many
materia medicas are just copying and rehashing of that same material and
there is, in fact, no real basis to retain it or to view it as correct
and/or worthwhile. This puts the homeopath in the position of having to take
everything with a grain of Nat Mur and of having to be, for the most part,
his own true, constant scientist - questioning and requestioning and, in
effect, believing no one or nothing except his own observations.
