Nosodes to jumpstart stalled cases

Post by Ellen Madono »

Hi all,

I usually just used Radar, but then I only come up with the most usual nosodes which may be plenty but I do not get great results. I have been reading many books about miasm's and I can only guess that my choice is faulty. No doubt there is something wrong with the way I am thinking about the choice. I choose my remedy with the thought of the miasm and that is a sure winner. But then I do not come up with good nosodes unless they are the best remedy in the first place. So maybe my concern is not significant anyway. I know some homeopaths choose a nosode to be used along side or in some part of the process of using of the best remedy. But I have cases, old ones, that seemed to have stopped. I want to get the patient jumpstarted, and they do not leave me because they already seen miracles. But I have to find something that is really going to work. And I think getting better at nosodes would help with these cases. I suspect the answer is yuu simply wait until the case has definitely changed.

I am wondering if anyone has used what appears to me to be a Nosode database, Repertorium Virosum? Am I correct in my assumption? Maybe it is broader than that.

Best,
Ellen

Hi Ellen,
Some say (and others I guess would disagree) that when the nosode
works, it's simply because that was the needed remedy, to address a
relatively undifferentiated miasmatic state; and that when the miasm
doesn't do much or anything, it's just because a different and more
differentiated remedy (in other words, more detailed and specific fit
to the symptom picture) is needed.

OTOH I was also taught that sometimes *even tho* the indicated nosode
doesn't produce an apparent effect, after giving it (and from that
teacher, "after" would have meant usually at least a month after), a
more specific indicated remedy which had previously *not* acted, will
now act. Have you tried that approach?

But--what nosodes are you looking at?
Shannon
