Laminitis or founder in horses/ Gout

Just mentioning my recent realisation that Gout can be an indication of
Lead poisoning. Lead interacts with Molybenum in a way that results in
the build up of uric acid. Nettle increase the excretion of uric acid,
as do Celery, Juniper and Cherry Juice, but I'm not sure if any of them
actually address the Lead problem. Folic acid in 5mg dosages rather than
the usual 500mcg type doses can also help, I would guess that goes a bit
deeper into the process of producing the uric acid, but again I don't
know if it helps the body detox from Lead.
