Re: Seroxat
I ask the client to bring one pill and make it in my remedy machine; it seems to work fine. I
have also collected a good number o theses drugs whenever I can from clients, etc, and just
replace them when their date expires.
Have just had an amazing success with a woman on Arimidex whose hair was falling (a side-
effect of the drug), and her hair has all grown back; she would not come off the drug, so she
just kept taking Arimidex 30c 3x weekly whilst on the drug.
I know that this will raise some people's hairs on this forum (sorry about the pun), but I am
only sharing what works in my practice. I fully respect that other people have different
working practices. Grace

Re: Seroxat
Arimidex is an aromatase (enzyme) inhibitor, which reduces levels of estrogen. While it is prescribed for hormone receptor positive breast cancer, it is also used off label by body builders and those belly fat obese to reduce estrogen levels. Belly fat produces estrogen, which is why you may see very obese men with feminine characteristics. Many bodybuilders and anyone can buy DHEA, over the counter in vitamin stores, which is a steroid hormone. DHEA is a precursor of testosterone but also converts to estrogen, which is why aromatase inhibitors are used, to keep increasing testosterone while minimizing estrogen.
If your patient has/had breast cancer, she may not want to stop taking Arimidex, unless you are treating her for that also, not just the side effect of hair falling out.

Re: Seroxat
Depends what you are calling isopathy.
If you refer to removal of a toxic drug, I see it this way:
We use many things to remove or cancel toxins, and that is
detoxification not homeopathy and is very valid - it is the removal
of what Hahnemann calls a maintaining cause:-)
So when for example a drug toxin is present it is detox rather than
homeopathy to use a remedy made from the toxin to cancel the toxin
itself. It addresses the toxin - not the disease - and removes that
toxin as a cause. It is no trying to be homeopathy, just
detoxification. The disease remains but is now visible and not hiding
behind the toxic maintaining cause:
So AFTER that isopathhic remedy is used for detoxing, your disease is
available to treat using similars by homeopathy.
It is also appropriate to use remedies for disease prevention - to
prevent the identical disease. This works just the way a proving does
- but stopping short of proving symptoms. This is done in a healthy
individual. The use of the remedy made from acute illness vaccine or
other related material for an acute infection will build resistance
to that infection AND to any similar infection - homeoprophylaxis
(not treatment).
If you want to use the remedy DURING an acute illness, forthe illness
symptoms - then you need a simillimum and isopathy will not work due
to not meeting the Law of Sinilars - but when used prior to illness
for prevention - or used to remove toxins frather than symptoms -
then no homeopathicity is needed, as no symptoms are being addressed.
Namaste,
Irene

Re: Seroxat
Dear Chris, I am totally okay with your opinion, which I respect fully.
But the answer is in your description within the word "system".
I do not use a "system", any "system".
I use whatever is needed for individual patients on individual cases according to specific, individual situations.
Why do I have to resort to isopathy "so often"? Probably because I have the fortune or misfortune to be considered as a practitioner of last resort, when everything else and everybody else has been tried and has not succeeded.
That must be something I do attract, as this was the same when I was a surgeon, daring to take risks and having higher mortality and morbidity than my more cautious colleagues.
It is that simple to my simple mind and I make no apologies for using whatever is needed, whenever it is needed for whoever needs it.

Hi Susan,
patient was on Arimidex for 5 years, following conventional treatment for breast cancer.
Came to me for hair loss.
As well as the Arimidex 30c whilst on Arimidex, I also treated constitutionally; she is now
fine, no longer on Arimidex and no longer requiring continuing Hom. treatment. Grace

I have a patient who has symptoms , NBWS Seroxat. I have treated her with remedies and there has been some improvement but she has been told that her symptoms are from Seroxat.
Now I would like to try this in potency but understandably she is very nervous about this. She asked me to find out anything about successful treatment with Seroxat in potency . So is there anyone out there who has used this with a patient successfully?
Thanks,
All the best
