Perhaps you're taking "spiders" too literally. Ask what spiders mean to your Px. Also, does she have delusions of seeing other things (or other delusions)? Sankaran considers that dreams and delusions rubrics are basically interchangeable, but one as limited as this is unlikely to give you the right remedy.

it is very specific -seeing spider int he bed and on the wall. it happened also a year ago after a head injury and disappeared under the onslaught of natural medicines and homeopathic treatment we did. No the patient is needing a lot less treatment but this is surfacing again.
TUB may address it as it has deluxionsof seeing things but would be interested if anyone could cite expereinces of instances they have used Lac-c.

I have used Lac-c with clients who see themselves as victims. Often these people have had abusive childhoods, which have led them to think quite lowly of themselves, and sometimes that they deserve to be treated badly.
I had one client, whose father sexually abused him as a child, and invited his mates to do so also, and this boy allowed himself to be whipped and beaten as well, as he said it was a choice between the sexual abuse and the physical.
As an adult, this man was still being abused, by men, in the homosexual community. He was in a terrible state when he was referred to me, and also had syphilis, and a drug habit, and was not able to eat solid food, and lived on milk and had a love for cats.
I gave him Lac-c and he had some almost miraculous turnarounds in his physical and psychological state. He started to eat solid food, and made some major changes in his lifestyle.
Others whom I felt needed this rem also seemed to be constantly placing themselves in abusive circumstances from slight to serious, and in all cases, it helped them – however, ongoing psychological therapy was also needed with these cases – I don’t think the remedy on its own would have been able to hold or do all the work, without that.
If Lac-c has this particular symptom of seeing spiders, and the patient has very low self-esteem, it may help – it also has kidney issues, and great weakness – so, I would consider trying it. It seems to be one of the remedies I have had the opportunity to use a lot in my psychology practice. I don’t think the seeing of the spiders is really the problem, but rather a clue to a deeper state.
