[H] A word of honest warning- Correction

Post by Allen Coniglio »

Good question, Shannon - I never thought to question the story, as it came
from Gaby and I always found him to be a reliable source for information.
Nancy also questioned the validity of the whole thing and I would guess that
we need to look more closely at this story. Thanks for the wake-up.

Hi Allen,
JFYI: I'm a 'she'.

And some thoughts come to my mind:

In former times the messenger bringing bad news to the king was killed.

In this discussion I wonder if most of you prefer NOT getting such
information - then I can use my time for something else instead of making a
summary and write a translation, which took a couple of hours.

All the best,

Gaby

Hi Gaby - I am hopelessly behind in e-mails. This one is 10 days old and
this thread is just about used up. In any case, Gaby, sorry to have referred
to you as a "he". As far as "killing the messenger", I have no intention of
doing any such thing. I am on this list to hear what people have to say. I
hope that everyone will keep it all coming, no matter how unusual or
"different". Thanks to everyone for their input and sharing.

Hi Allen,

I just wanted to mention it.;-)
One of the disadvantages of emailing is not knowing the face of the peolpe
you talk to.

And sometimes people refer to me as Gabby, Dabby, Gabe or whatever - and
that makes the identifikation female/male even more difficult.
A good discussion is sometimes more important than the trigger that
stimulated the discussion.

All the best,

Gaby
