Hi,
My hands-on experience in treating hundreds of HIV patients allows me to say that typhoidinum is NOT a remedy for aids. (unless by some miracle of individual simillium).
There are other much more effective remedies "for AIDS" - both homeopathic and naturopathic.
There are some specific remedies out there which can work wonders in HIV/AIDS cases but, until now, I've found none are universally a "magic bullet", though we often have cases of "undetectible viral load". All work better when combined with nutritional therapy, naturopathic therapy, and, of course, "the usual" homeopathic approach (ie proper case-taking & analysis).
So far, out of my experience in Kenya, I can recommend the following as possibilities, in consultation with a practitioner, of course.

not really, tho I have it on hand.
I knew a couple of my students tried it as a "cure" without much avail. I haven't been inspired to try it much. The meditative proving goes much into the mentals - which while I don't deny those, have less to do with our treatment protocols - which have a lot to do with the disease generals& particulars as they present themselves. Detoxing & nutrition is the mainstay of my treatment methods.
Part of the reason, i guess, for my hesitation is that I don't know much about the source - ie "blood of an american male AIDS patient". Was he gay? a drug user? What OI's (opportunistic infections) were prevailing in him? In other words was "AIDS" being potentized or "TB" or "kaposi's" or "???" [the final infections that killed him]. How far is his mentality (gay or drug user - both probably having personal issues) influencing the rx?
I've been interested -but not enough to sort out the time to do it- to potentize a Kenyan AIDS patient's blood. I would make it a female, since its predominantly women who are infected. That she would have suffered TB and probably some STIs is inevitable as well, and less (if not under) nourished.
But what kind of picture would that give? Wouldn't the OI diseases suffered by the individual influence the nosode?
Nosodes are made directly from disease substances - tumours, pus, discharges, the germ itself, etc. But the aids nosode is made from the whole blood. That's not very specific. That's more like a "sick sarcode", rather than a true nosode.
I imagine that an AIDS nosode will be very effective in the huge generation of children-with-HIV-parents now growing up in Africa. Many escaped infection thru the drugs given to the mother in pre-natal and labour. Others were born positive but turned negative over time.
Many HIV infected children are undergrown - their thymus & thyroid apparently severely affected plus lack of sufficient nutrition.
Due to lack of sufficient funding, I haven't been able to seriously investigate this. These are just some observations.
