PS Fear of the Invisible book on viruses & polio and AIDS and HIV

Post by Irene de Villiers »

Not quite. And the truth is in the details.

Viruses "borrow" the DNA of cells in order to replicate. They do not
carry enough DNA of their own. this does NOT mean they are a normal
part of cell function - just ghat they are opportunistic in their use
of cell DNA.

Nor are viruses the least bit invisible. We've been looking at them
for many decades now under electron microscopes.

In addition, virus genomes have been mapped, showing exactly what
they are comprised of, and in what way those gene components interact
with cells to cause damage, such as in polio, HIV, etc.

What WE need to be concerned about as homeopaths, is the same things
we are concerned about for bacterial or parasitic or fungal or any
other misuse of our cells by micro-organisms - namely the RESISTANCE
we should have to that misuse.

SO - Cells do NOT make retroviruses. There is no function of cells,
nor any gene coding, which could do that.
Retroviruses (the category involved in HIV) and other pathogenic
viruses (and NOT all are pathogenic) - enter the body and enter cells
and then replicate by using the cell's mechanisms for duplication of
DNA. So the VIRUS - not the cell - is making more viruses.

Irene

Well it goes up to July 2008 research - and you have failed to
produce anything more recent, much less anything that is research as
opposed to some journalistic wild interpretation?

Because in research they inject the virus into cats in order to study
the disease, and the injected cat always gets the disease.
Because when an infected cat bites the ear of another cat they get
sick too.
Because if a pregnant cat gets the virus and is at a specific stage
of pregnancy - the kittens all also get born with it.
So they goofed.
That does not make all the other diseases also goofy:-)

There also needs to be differentiation between infection and contagion.
For example FIP was assumed contagious when it was first discovered -
but that was decades ago. In 1998 it's mechanism of infection was
discovered. It mutates from a benign gut virus (FECoV) into a
pathogenic virus (FIPV).
SO - It is a virus-caused illness but is not contagious. Each cat
has to mutate their own infection from FIP virus.

Science moves on - new findings are relevant.

The FIV virus is no invisible mystery - PCR tests find it literally
in every HIV positive person.
Its structure is known.
We knew in 1996 that the envelope protein of HIV virus is what
changes frequently to make it hard for allopathy to make a vaccine.
But they KNOW what each structural part of HIV (also FIV) looks like
right down to the molecular level. There is nothing invisible or
hidden about it - the virus exists. the mechanism by which it infects
T cells is also no longer unknown. You have to be completely out of
the loop to think there is any doubt any more. Only fringe fanatics
spread stories (and indeed you keep posting stories not research) as
they know nothing.

I published several photographs of the FIV virus myself in my
Pawprint magazine back in 1996 for example, along with an extensive
article on it combining the findings of more than 100 research papers
which I had the training to understand properly - and the article was
vetted by the virologist who discovered and researched FIV in cats in
Africa, Prof/Dr Fritz St J, van der Riet at UCT.
The structure of both FIV and HIV is known ion detail.
FIV, much like its human cousin HIV, has an RNA genome of around
10,000 bases that is packaged in a protein and lipid capsid and coat.
HIV and FIV both code for a number of structural genes, which
encapsulate the RNA and are produced by a gene called gag. In an
infected cell, the virus produces a large Gag polyprotein that is
later chopped up into its constituent pieces by an important viral
enzyme called the protease. The protease and a few other necessary
enzymes are encoded by a viral pol gene. And HIV and FIV also encode
env genes, which makes a glycoprotein that sticks up out of the coat
of the virion and helps the virus infect cells. One very big parallel
between the two is that FIV uses the chemokine receptor CXCR4, like
many strains of HIV. Much like HIV, FIV requires the interaction of
its surface glycoprotein molecules with CXCR4. And, also like HIV,
FIV requires another receptor to maximize binding to the chemokine
receptor. In HIV, the required receptor is called CD4. There are
differences in the accessory genes that the FIV and HIV viruses use.
FIV and HIV, like all lentiviruses, (a subcategory of retroviruses)
have a number of other "accessory" genes as well, with names like
tat, rev, nef and vif. The roles of some of these genes are clear-cut—
rev, for instance, helps the viral genome get into and out of the
nucleus of the cell they are infecting.

It is this detailed knowledge of the chemistry and infection
mechanism of the viruses that allow allopaths to devise drugs to
interrupt the virus attempts to infect cells.

So the mechanism for HIV infecting a cell is ALSO well known these days.

I dunno if it will show in the email but here is a picture of a HIV-1
strain of HIV virus budding from a white blood cell.

Irene,
What causes the normal gut virus to mutate--is that known?

Yes. It is external factors which the body perceives as stress, which
initiate the mutration.... such as:
vaccines (esp before age 3 months) , drugs, toxic foods, change of
home, cage stress, early weaning, early hysterectomy, being
constantly chased by another aggressive cat, etc.
[I have a longish article on the details available, but essentially
stress does it, whether physical, chemical or emotional stress]

.........

I see the HIV virus photo did get to the list in my other email - but
it got placed way after the yahoo blurbs so it looks odd - easy to
miss the whole latter part of that email.

Would you say that
constitutes absolute proof that something material passes from one to
another? Does it rule out all other possibilities?

Hi,
I was listening to a lecture on the life cycle of the cholera bacteria. During the monsoons, the nitrates from the "green revolution" fertilizers are swept out to sea along with the cholera bacteria. The bacteria latches on to the microscopic shrimp shell. The shrimp multiply rapidly because of the over growth of algae which is growing on the nitrates. Anyway, while it is attached to the shell of the a dead shrimp and eating the kyton (spelling??) on it, it pulls in strings of DNA from where I am not sure, but floating in the sea. This is the source of genetic creativity for the new cholera bacteria strains that are killing healthy strong adults. I'm confused because I thought that virus were they only life form that could incorporate external non-self DNA. Apparently this is not true. This Bangladesh delta cholera reproduction cycle has been reproduced in laboratory petri dishes. If so, then the wonder is that slow reproducing species like us even survive. It's not just fertilizers, but organic waste from any kind of industrial farming (pigs, fish etc) that will produce these unnaturally intense organic growths. Then if some war crazed nut is doing this in a lab, it's hopeless.
I know someone selling a machine to automate the reproduction of proteins. It is being bought by military and pharmaceutical concerns. As well as universities. The big race is a vaccination for malaria. The power that can keep soldiers alive in the jungles can conquer them. Yippee. Here we come Vietnam.
Cheers,
Ellen

Answering my own question - if I can think of some other possibilities,
I’m sure you could think of a few more.

If I were a smart virus, I might not go through the trouble of
replicating etc. myself. Maybe I’d say, to those/that are susceptible:
“Look at me, ain’t I beautiful? You can make my liking. I’ll tell you
how. Do this and that, and you’re done.”
Or I might make those with the right ear an offer they cannot refuse:
“Either you do what I want you to do, or die resisting me. Resistance is
futile”.
Or I might try to take over some essential processes and steer those to
my liking.
I’d say that because of their long existence, virusses are very
experienced in several ways to get the results they need. (That is, of
course, assuming they are real ‘entities’.)
All this, maybe, without the actual ‘thoughts’, as in humans, but even
without that, the principle might work very well. As a virus, all you
need is an opponent that is less ‘experienced’ or ‘weaker’ and therefore
can be manipulated. Well educated opponents, for instance those who have
learned about good and bad virusses, and how to make use of them, or
those who have been taught to resist the bad ones, probably can handle
them very well.
Every creature on this planet strives to survive. Some, big or small,
develop to be Hitler-likes, or Ghandi-likes. But most probably are just
average companions of everything else on this planet, and trying to
understand their role in all this might help a lot. Some of our worst
tiny enemies could turn out to be our best friends. They could kill
thousands and as a result save millions.

Hi Ellen,

Cholera epidemics were around long, long before the industrial
revolution, man-made fertilizers, big pharma, big anything......

Just to keep the record straight:-)

Hi Hennie,

Of course it may work the way you say - or any number of other ways.

But in order to get the cell(s) to do what it wants, the virus has to
be there. It has to come from somewhere. This coming from somewhere is
what we have been talking about.

Luise
