Statins - When the Cure Is Worse Than the Disease

Why take statins at all when the whole premise is wrong. Its not about lower cholesterol numbers. Its about why those numbers are up there (if they mean anything at all). Kind of like in homeopathy - treating the disease name or working with the whole symptom picture.
