Hi Ellen,
If I were still active, I would study the v. B. rep the way I did with
Kent. At that time, v. B. was not a prominent topic in Germany - so I
never got interested enough to do so. I would not have used it instead
of Kent but parallel. However, there are some rubrics in Phatak, whom
I do use parallel now, that are similar and which I have often found
useful.

I was not, in my answering Chris, referring to the reps. I was
referring to the way of repertorizing: i. e. try to boil down the
symptoms to what I consider the important symptoms, which would be
relatively few (Nash said one needs 3 of them - he compared them with
the legs of a stool:-) - thus the repertorizing by book is not that
overwhelming.

Hi,
I wonder if Chris only uses Boenninghausen. The book that I was reading suggested using the Boenninghausen rubrics and in the end checking out kentian rubrics for particualrs which not be very important in a Boenninghausen case. I am not sure why one would bother, except it is easy to do.
I use a computer, so I would check, and I would have more than 3 legs on my stools. Maybe limiting myself to 3 legs would be good discipline. Certainly fewer legs are a necessity in a confusing many layered case.
