Hi List,
I am replying to Shannon's mail because my mail is something of an
extension to what she says:
I just got an email telling me that a collegue homeopath has died.
She was diagnosed with cancer of the breast last December and asked on
a German list for advice about possible hemoepathic/alternative
treatment instead of conventionals treatment.
I do not know what advice she got - whatever there was was done by p.
m. After a while she posted that she had decided to refuse
conventional treatment and would instead go and see a classical
homeopath.
There was nothing further on the list until end of June. Then she
asked on the list for recommendation of a different homeopath since
the treatment by her homeopath and her supervisor had done her no
good.
So now - within 9 months of the initial diagnosis - she is dead.
I am not trying to criticise her decision. I might have done the same!
I am just trying to show up the possible consequences of the
decision not to use allopathic methods. We should be very much aware
of them!
(Yes, I am also aware that she might have died just as fast with
allopathic treatment - but this is rather unusual. Longer life might
have meant more suffering - this I also know. I hope that she made her
decision being fully aware of the 2 probablities, i.e. longer life at
possibly much reduced life-quality against the probablilty of being
truly cured by homeopathy or dying a relatively quick death and did
not have an exaggerated trust in homeopathy for her condition)
Regards
Luise

So definitely know what's true:
