I can't find your description of Boenninghausen. There seems to be so much more to his method than what I have read in introductory texts. To learn more, what do you think of the following books? Would you suggest others?

David Little has a whole section devoted to Boenninghausen's work in his simillimum classroom. Don't forget Robert's introduction to the Therapeutic Pocketbook, and Boger usually has some more insights in the front of his books (Synoptic Key and Boenninghausen's Characterisitics and Repertory).
The Minutus website has all of Boenninghausen's published essays from his "Lesser Writings" - except for one called Triduum Homoeopathicum which only appears in the German edition. A shame because it is definitely one of his most interesting and gives great insights into his clinical applications.
The other books I'd recommend unfortunately are only available in German.
(1) Martin Stahl - "Briefwechsel zwischen Hahnemann und Bönninghausen".
(2) Raimund Kastner - "Bönninghausens Repertorium der homöopathischen Arzneimittel und Geniushinweise"

(4) "Neues Archiv für Homöopathik" - a hugely important Journal published by Kwibus (S. Reis and H. Westhofen) http://neues-archiv-fuer-homoeopathik.de/nah.html Contains many articles referencing v. Bönninghausen's works.
(5) Bernhard Möller - "Methodik: C. v. Bönninghausen" a collection of 5 essays from the (old) Archiv für Homöopathik still available from http://www.buchhenne.de/
Also, photocopies or digital images of individual cases from v. Bönninghausen's Casebooks are available from Prof. Martin Dinges or one of the librarians/secretaries at http://www.igm-bosch.de/english/f9.htm in Stuttgart. Very helpful staff and yes, they speak English.
