Re: Aconite layer?
I couldnt read it. It ends with ".dat" not with ".rtf"
If I change this end after saving on the pc in "rtf", it's readable.
rtf works for both, it's only a little bit bigger than .doc

Thanks Gisa,
How odd that it arrives differently than it was sent!
I'll try to remember to check for this. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Erica,
Roger Morrison presented a case of an adult who needed Aconite after a scare when he was 3 or 4 yrs old. Worked beautifully.

Re: Aconite layer?
Aconite is not considered as Chronic in general -
not because it cannot address long standing symptoms but because of
the way we define acute and chronic in homeopathy. If we define
acute as something that either kills the patient or leaves him/her
on its own accord and chronic as a miasmatic disease - then Aconite
is acute and non-chronic ( though even this might be questionable).
It might not be an anti-miasmatic but works against long standing
conditions.
If we look at chronicity from a temporal perspective- the duration
of illness- then Aconite can cure anything if we can match the
symptoms. There are so many "Never Been Well Since" situations that
cry out for Aconite even years after the condition started. Also if
we look at the use of Aconite in other systems of medicine there are
so many "chronic" indications for Aconite.
Look at its use in Indian Medicine for example. It might be
illustrative...

Re: Aconite layer?
If a NBWS condition has been going on for years or decades, in what
sense is it not "chronic"?
Thanks,
Shannon

Re: Aconite layer?
a NBWS is chronic- from a common sense perspective and general
medical perspective...
If one cannot show miasmatic symptoms it is not chronic from
homeopathic perspective...( though it is psoric - but then everyone
is psoric from my understanding)
Personally I do not prescribe based on just miasms- my prescription
is based on symptoms and then I use miasm classification for
confirming the selection but most times not even that...
Given the fact that there are many more miasms and many more
approaches to diagnose these miasms, Aconite could be anti miasmatic
by some one's classification and so Aconite is alright for "chronic"
complaints from homeopathic and common-sensical understanding of the
term.
