bang on head- progress

Post by Rochelle »

Dear All

I asked for more detail:-

Any idea where I can go from what I have already given her. The osteopath doesn't want to see her until next week.

Rochelle,
have you looked at Cicuta for her? The conjunction of spasms with head injury would certainly make that a remedy worth checking out.

Dear Beverly
I know this woman quite well and I don't feel that there are any mind symptoms which would indicate Aconite but thanks for your suggestion. Much appreciated.

That's fine Rochelle
I have found in the past that even when there are no mind symptoms present Aconite can remove the physical manifestations of the shock as in shaking trembling, even diarrhoea. but it may not suit your patient
all the best

She is fine mentally just frustrated that the insurance have taken a week to get a car down her drive while hers is being fixed and then angry it was only a "small" not the standard of the car in the accident!!!! The fact she is not fit to drive at the moment is besides the point!!

"Not seeing" any mind symptoms is a practitioner mistake; they are
always there and indicative of the right remedy:-)

Sometimes Irene, the physicals will take predominance after the emotional part of a shock has died down.
I have found that many patients who say they are feeling well emotionally and don't offer up or show any major emotional symptoms to hang a remedy on will still have the effects of shock in a physical sense. Although everyone does have emotional things to deal with

Yes Irene I agree - like the Mind Sx of Arnica.
These woman did have Mind Sx after the crash but these were dealt with by the Rx I gave her. The physicals came out afterwards.
Her Mind Sx now are the type she would normally experience when well but she is a friend and I have never done a full consultation with her so I have to take it on what am being told as I am offering to help rather than her asking me.:-)
