In an ideal world yes but people are afraid and do not deserve to be abused because of it. My Masters Degree in computer science pays my bills not my ND or any of the other initials I have. Many people cannot afford gas to get to work these days. Sliding scale - name a few that are good. Do you practice and have a sliding scale? Our systems in the US are to blame not the people. Kathy

Wrong: you are not stuck, that is a faulty decision people make, it has everything to do
with self-esteem. Why would you want to drive 100 miles a hour down a 25 mile an hour street, only to hasten your own death?
What does this have to do with enough money? How many people have said that they would give away everything only to be healthy again? You have to stop being a sheep, and take charge of your life, with a positive attitude, and stop whining that there is nothing you can do; that I can't controll what happens in my life.
Most homeopaths have a sliding scale from the first visit; so if the first visit cost $300, the next one might be $150. It sounds like you've never been to a homeopath.
I don't know how many homeopaths would be willing to wait to get paid. Maybe we should have a poll of the US Homeopaths.
My point is that a patient can afford to pay the regular fees if they believed they were doing the right thing for the right reason. Payment terms are sometimes negotiable. You can't get something for nothing (or nearly nothing). Homeopaths deserve every penny they make.
