THere is a bill being fast-tracked through the New York State Legislature tomorrow. If you could please forward this information to anyone you know in the area, that would be appreciated. There are parents organizing buses to go to the capitol in Albany tomorrow to protest and meet with lawmakers and make our voices heard.

i dont see why not. i sign petitions from other states all the time.
i suggest that you note the impact of nys legislation on other states as well
as your humanitarian concern for the health of nys's people. you can also
talk about the universal impact of health costs for all people in the country
that may derive from the demise of population health in one state. these
3 talking points would definitely give you standing as an 'outsider' of the
state in regard to what a state is doing.
