Hi List,
One of the small vessels in my eye has burst and I am a redeye.
No other symptoms - no pain, no problems seeing.
It's actually just a minor annoyance (looking into the mirror, people
asking: what on earth:-) and it will go away by itself.
aI am just wondering whether anyone has experience with a remedy that
might make it go away faster:-)

Hello Luise,
this happens sometimes from coughing or sneezing.
Even though it looks alarming, it is is not dangerous, it has happened to me a couple of times
You might want to do a differential diagnoses on the following remedies
Bleeding eyes conjunctiva
aconite, arnica, bothrops, ham, helio-s, led, psor

I used Arnica 30 repeated when that happened to me!! It went away faster than I would have expected!!

Yesterday, I met my husband at Home Depot to pick up some materials for a job we're doing. He met me late in the afternoon with ice melting in his hand, and telling me that he'd hit his finger with a hammer very hard, not seeing it well, as it was covered with tar - as he was doing a roofing project. He was in a lot of pain. At dinner he was repeatedly complaining of pain, and when we arrived home, He actually asked me for a remedy that he'd taken previously when he'd dropped a fireproof filing cabinet on his toe, which had reduced pain significantly, and helped the blood that had caused the deep bruising to reabsorb. The top blood under the nail had reduced somewhat, but not completely, but the pain and bruising - significantly reduced. His pain tolerance is very high, and he is not usually the type of person to ask me for treatment, nor to tell me when something has worked well.
I gave him a remedy called Verbena Hastata in a 4C. This is reputed in the MM to help reabsorbtion of blood in blood blisters and severe bruising.
Last night he took the remedy twice, and this morning once. He reported at breakfast that it felt a LOT better, and looked a little better in just those few hours. He was very happy about this!
Previously for toe injury: He took this remedy the first couple days following the injury, and already the first joint of the toe closest to the foot was almost back to normal coloring. Then, he continued to take this remedy (several times a day) for the last few days and his toe is healing very nicely, and almost painless unless hit accidentally. In less than a week, it went from Dark black/red to light yellow/green to light bruised /healing coloration. For this intense of a deep bruise - one week is a miracle!

From clinical point of view, eye drops containing eyebright (Euphresia)
& Cineraria might help.
Capsicum internally also is useful.

Hi Luise,
There's an extension of iridology called sclerology which studies the blood vessels in the sclera of the eye - as in iridology the body organs are also indicated in the sclera - it maybe that a particular organ or system is under stress and you are seeing the evidence of that in your eye.
You could google sclerology to find out more and possibly which organ of your body is stressed if you don't already know.
It can also be an indication that the walls in your blood vessels are weak - so any of the things that support blood vessels may help.

An illness I work with in cats involves weakness of tiny blood
vessels which then leak. The remedy most often helpful to reverse
this and to drain off the leaked blood fluid, is Cinchona
officianalis. I find 30C helps some individuals well enough but more
usually 200C and rarely 1M. In cats, the cause (which is usually
relevant, right?) - is a damaged immune system. Could that apply?
For an ordinary black-eye from impact damage, Ledum is indicated,
but with no injury, I wonder if weak blood vessels is a more relevant
issue.
Ideally repertorize of course but I thought I'd mention my experience
with China, incase it fits - as it has been quite remarkably
effective in the area where I have used it.
