Taking liq. rx in Kenya

On the other extreme. I have a patient that is on a liquid remedy and he is going on holiday to Kenya in few weeks.
I understand that the purity of water might be a problem there.
I have a couple of ideas but it would be interesting to hear how other homeopaths have solved this problem

The best thing to do for trips to warm countries where refrigeration is not available is to give the person a supply of pellets. They can easily get plastic bottled water anywhere. They should add a pellet to a fresh bottle of water. Then succuss as usual -- dose is up to a teaspoon. When the solution starts to smell or taste "off" or look cloudy, after a few days, they should discard it, and start a new solution in a new plastic bottle. You ca tell him/ her to empty the bottle for drinking down to a certain quantity if it's important to keep the quantity stable. I think at least some homeopaths using this method just tell them to use the put the pellet in the full bottle.

I have never been to Kenya, and I am wondering if there is such a things as bottled water there.

I am aware that a method of dispensing liquid remedies in the shake the bottle (amber with few drops of alcohol) and take 1-2 drops directly by mouth without the further dilution in water.
Do you have any experience in using this method?

If your patient is going on safari with a group, they should provide good bottled water to everyone. If he's going solo, I don't know how available bottled water is outside of the major cities (or how trustworthy).

Yes, Lucy, this is how a majority of people end up taking the remedies in water -- but a fair number need further dilution to achieve a "gentle" cure. I don't know personally, but others have told me that bottled water now seems available worldwide -- certainly any place that tourists are likely to be found in "third world" settings, and apparently beyond that limited set of places as well. Can your patient ask someone who lives or has experience where he's going?

Dear Lucy and all,

sorry, for delay in replying. I've been offline for a couple days.

Excellent quality spring water is available in kenya. as is brands like Dasani (Coca cola company)

Unless one is visiting the really hot sea shore, most of the weather around Kenya, now, is mild. ie about 25C high and 17C low.

IMO- I don't find that heat, per se, is a problem with the remedies.
