Enlarged adenoids and snoring for a 5 year old child

Hi!

My child has been snoring for almost a year .
We took her to the doctor and he cnfmd that she had enlarged adenoids
after taking an X ray.
My child often gets cold very often and does not go for days and is
under homeopathy medicine for cold as well as to cure the snoring
problem.It has been almost 6 mths and i wld like to know if the above
problem can be rectified and cured with the homeopathy medicine
prescribed.
Some days the snoring is quite loud and also accompanied with mouth
breathing.Quite scary..
I wld like to have a good reply reg the above matter and cure so as to
know what to expect and what not to exprect realistically.

I'm very interested in hearing about suggested homeopathic remedies (I'm just starting to study it) but I thought I'd throw out a medical thought. My practice is full of children coming to me with these symptoms, often along with sensitive skin, red cheeks or ears, "environmental allergies", etc. From my more medical perspective, the adenoids are lymph tissue. If they are enlarged, to me it implies a hyperactive immune system with subsequent immune dysfunction. I'm not sure whether you've tried starting with nutrition, keeping a food log, trying to remove some commonly allergenic foods sequentially, even as you are doing homeopathic remedies. Particularly if there are foods that she loves and craves, I'd think about taking a break from those temporarily to see if symptoms begin to lessen. Dairy is often the biggest offender, but there are many others. Environmental allergies in the home esp bdrm can be exacerbators as well. Just thought I'd throw this out there as well.

Hi Ss,
I would definitely expect it can be helped homeopathically! But it
needs "constitutional" treatment, not just treatment for each
individual acute. Is she being treated by a homeopath, and if so do
you know what their training and experience level is?

Some cases are easier to solve than others--partly depending on how
quickly the prescriber is able to identify the needed remedy; sometimes
that's clear from the start, but not always!

(Have you tried going milk-free and see if that helps?)

My opinion from someone who has been there. Yes, it can be cured. The cure isn't overnight. It actually took me longer because my daughter had ear infections, and a host of issues. I believe it was vaccine damage now. I would think you would be noticing changes though even at 6 months. I still have issues with my daughter, but they subside when the right remedy is given. I would not get adenoids taken out. The right Homeopath can cure.

My son has been greatly helped by homeopathic treatment. He had the same breathing symptoms as your child, and was diagnosed with enlarged adenoids by an ENT specialist, but his remedy is one that addresses his emotional issues first and foremost. Sorry for the late reply as was out of town.
Yes the homepoath that we visit is experienced for abt a year now. She has given her Kali S . It is still not working and the child is snoring and mouth breathing.
Quite worried as the child's lungs cld be over exerting themselves since the adenoids are blocking normal breathing.
My child also gets cold almost every mth and need something to build her immunity.
