Hi Jennifer, Grouply is something I've been wanting to find out more
about, but haven't felt like spending the time to research it. Would
you mind sharing what you know about it, and why it's dangerous?

Don't know if you read on below, but Grouply hijacks your address book, sends out mail in your name, opens to public scrutiny all your lists, even those that are private, so that every comment can be brought up by search engines for the public to review.... and on and on. Read on down the previous post that I'd posted, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Grouply will be helpful if you are a member in many yahoo groups.
It will send one single digest (only hyperlinks) of all the messages
group wise.
I do not remember why, but I opted out of grouply a year back due to
some real trouble over privacy and difficulty in replying thru it.
The extrication process was difficult with myself stuck up without
access to the groups for a few days and a complaint mail to grouply
sorted it out with their service dept making some manual deletion.
