Usng Dr. Ramakrishnan's Method and comment on dosage of Carcinosinum

Post by Virginia (Ginny) Linnell »

I want to wish Carol good luck using Dr.Ramakrishnan's method. I am in a
very similar situation. I have a patient and dear friend that had breast
cancer several years ago (having had both breasts removed) and now it has
metastasized to the bones (lower spine and femur). She is undergoing chemo
and asked that I treat her also since she and her family have had such
positive results with homeopathy. I was reluctant to treat being that she is
undergoing chemo but read in Dr. R's book that he on occasion treats
patients simultaneously while undergoing chemo. I have started her on Dr.
Ramakrishnan's protocol. She has been taking Heckla Lava 3 pellets 200c
dissolved in 11 tsp. water, then take 1 tsp of solution every 15 mins. for 2
1/2 hours, succussing each time, keeping 1 tsp of the mixture for the next
day to which 10 more tsp. of water are added and the procedure is repeated
for one week (this is Dr. R's protocol). After the one week on Heckla L
the following week Carcinosinum 200C is administered diluting same way, etc.
, and is given for one week. This alternation of the two remedies continues
for several months watching for improvement and then changing the
alternation of the remedies to weekly, monthly, etc. And possibly raising
the potency to 1M if necessary (can read the book for exact details). She
has been on it now for 4 weeks now and is feeling well. I will let you know
how her tumour markers come out with next checkup. I would be very
interested to see how others are faring with this method and how many
have/are using it.
Concerning the post of the repetition of the Carcinosinum that Muzemmil
Sultan asked,"Can any one please tell me the risk and action/reaction of
Carcinosinum 200 is given 3 times a day for 2 weeks?" I would only
consider the repetition if administered in LM's or as Dr. R has done which
is to dissolve a dry dose in water and plussing it (thus changing the
potency) every time it is administered. The repetition of the remedy in dry
dose and at this high a potency is not advisable. The patient could prove
the remedy and experiencing some of the symptoms, the Carc. Could actually
cancel itself (antidote) or it could prove to be curative - but I would not
want to take a chance using it this way!
An example as to how the high doses with many repetitions can result in an
undesired effect: There is a local plastic surgeon (not homeopathically
trained) in my area that must have read about the positive effects of Arnica
for bruising, swelling, etc. And then started prescribing it to his patients
in a 200C - 3 times a day for 2 weeks prior to the procedure they were
having done. I had one of the patients come and see me and what she
experienced is that the sutures actually started weeping. She had had a
similar procedure done by him before and had taken the Arnica once before
and once right after the procedure (prescribed by me) and had minimal
swelling and hardly any bruising. This same outcome of the weeping sutures
happened to several of his patients - he now has stopped using Arnica
altogether because he says that it is no good! Good example of a good remedy
used incorrectly. In some acute situations the multiple repetition of a dry
dose is used for a short time until an improvement is observed and some give
low potencies say 6c on a daily basis for auto immune diseases, etc. , almost
treating the low potency as an LM (although I feel LM's would work better
since they are potentized every time they are used); but I have not
read/heard of this type of high potency/dry dose repetition such as the one
mentioned by Muzemmil being used classically or successfully.
Regards,

Dear Ginny,
I have used the Hekla lava/Carc protocol with someone with multiple problems and all I know is that the bone cancer is not an issue anymore to such an extent that the doctors wondered if their diagnosis was wrong. She has other issues like Aplastic anaemia that are not so easily solved.

Dear Virginia,
Arnica Montana Radix 200 (arn-mr.) does not have the irritation caused by Arnica montana (arn.) which contains the root AND the plant (which carries insects) - leading to Apis like irritation. Quite a possibility that in any procedure where cutting rather than only bruising is involved, arn. would cause weeping. This should not happen with arn-mr.
Regards.
