thank you all for your comments.

I can mention a few points about this video.
a) it was made by Reuters "Africa Journal" TV documentary in 2003, so we have grown a lot since then.

b) they really couldn't find anyone in the neighborhood to say anything negative about us, so the reporters just got someone to say something general against herbalists and cut it up to sound like it was against us. (and what the guy said anyhow could apply to how allopathy is applied in this country)

c) the negative comments made by the-then Chairman of the Kenya Medical Board, could also be applied to allopathy! Moreover this guy is well known for his anti-Alt medicine postition and to top it off he's now, as Director of Medical Services in the Min. of Health, he's in charge of alt medicine in this country that has yet no laws regulating us.

THANKS! When I watched it last night, I figured that sort of thing was true, but very useful to know some details.
FWIW on another topic, we just went to see ***Charlie Wilson’s War*** and I can highly recommend it to anyone who can stand the violence. At least it is not gratuitous. The filming is stunning, the acting ditto, and the message is so very topical: we won the war (covertly, in Afghanistan, against the Soviet Union in the case of the movie) but we sure as heck did blow the peace.
