Has anyone used Dr.Hamer's approach and used homeopathy to treat after
such an analysis.
How was the presciption decided upon - based on Hamer's analysis and
the causation of the current pathology or based on homeopathic seat of
action etc.
I know that there were some mails here about Hamer a few years back,
Would like to know if anyone has any more to say on that...
Thanks for any input.
Hamer Homeopathy
Re: Hamer Homeopathy
I 've seen many cases where Hamer's ideas were corroborated
until the last detail, specially in the causation aspect
(conflict-->disease).
It's an important tool to get more information about the patient.
I don't BASE my prescription on it, but I have it in mind.
It is very useful in order to explain patients why they have what they have,
not always they can hear, but that's another story.
I also use Ruediger Dahlke's books that have a wider and more psychological
approach.
Here's an example
A female patient came for deafness and tinnitus of left ear.
Doctors find no cause for her symptoms.
The problem started after a fight with her husband, he told
her he had been with another woman.
She remembers exactly the moment and the position of her body
when he said the words.
She was not facing him, she heard everything with her left ear.
Hamer would say: she lost her hearing because she didn't want to hear.
She received Lyc with good results.
Now you can understand why was so difficult for her to hear exactly that.
Lyc was chosen for her complete picture, but as you can see,
her complaint was related to her personality.
I hope it helps

Re: Hamer Homeopathy
Guillermo-
thanks-
looks like you kind of use it to put the case into some context... in
the example you gave there has been this clear-cut connection between
cause and effect that may be Hamer approach is not even necessary.
I was wondering if understanding the case with Hamer's approach had
any say in the actual selection of remedies...which in your case does
not... the prescription is still made using totality- right?
Anyway thanks for your feedback

Re: Hamer Homeopathy
You are right there was a connection between cause and effect,
but the patient didn't remember spontaneously the fight.
She consulted 8 months after the fight.
Knowing Hamer's approach was easier to know what to ask to get
valuable information.
Hamer's approach is just a part of the totality,
you can get a couple of rubrics to repertorize but it is
not enough to get a complete picture of the patient.
I use it mainly to give the patient some context
to understand its disease.
