malaria research? Anyone out there?

Post by Ananda Ruchira »

Hello all,

There's been a lot of email lately regarding the all-out attacks homeopathy is facing nowadays.

One of our main and only weapons is to get the research done.

Here at ALF in Kenya, we have the patients, we have the medicines, we have the practitioners.

In fact, recently, with the network-cooperation of another NGO we have distributed to 1000 people our prophylactic protocol in a malaria-ridden area. We're calling it "Malariax 3-step". Modelled in a way like "bohnenhousen's croup remedy" which gave 5 powders to be taken in sequence, I've developed a 3-step protocol to clear out old malaria and prevent further attacks.

We hope to see some hopeful results soon from these patients.

But, I realise the results will be hardly publishable since ALF lacks the funding to pull off a definitive, unassailable study on our work.

We lack is funding and technical professional support to conduct a definitive double blind study of homeopathy vs allopathy in the field of malaria prevention and treatment.

I can't do it myself because I lack the technical & financial backing to handle such an undertaking. I don't even know how I'd write such a proposal. I don't have time either to go trawling the internet for potential backers. Even if I find them I need help to pull together a fool-proof research exercise.

As a matter of fact, our ALF de-wormer also was informally compared to allopathic dewormer and again found to be superior, but no funding to produce a report that could be published.

So is anyone out there ready to "put your money (research funding) where your mouth (bewailing the lack of research) is" and help financially & technically to put together a publishable study?

If YOU are interested in this idea please write me off-list.
Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira

Great idea - to bad I cannot help but I am sure there is money and knowledge out there that could fund the project. Good Luck and I will keep you in my "prayer wish list"

Hi Didi,

I'm sorry I don't know anything about research money, but I am really
interested in your protocols. It is reasonably common for people who
are travelling to ask about homoeopathy for malaria, and I would love
to know about your dewormer. I appreciated reading about your HIV
program.

Gail.
