Mini-study on Tabacum Fumar

Post by Vera Resnick »

I'm doing a mini-study (initially 10 people only) on the Tabacum Fumar, mentioned in recent posts as a method to stop smoking (referenced to JW and Eizayaga). Can anyone tell me the following:
- Should the bottle used to prepare the remedy be glass only? dark glass? can it be plastic?
- Can alcohol be added to the prepared remedy to preserve it, so that the patient can keep it around for a while or so?
- The instructions said that the patient should take a sip every time he/she feels a craving for a cigarette - does anyone have any experience with this? How long does it take for the cravings to taper off?
If anyone has more info to give me it would be helpful. If not - I hope in a month or two I'll have more info to give you!
Regards,
Vera

Hi Vera I have been using homeopathy to help people stop smoking since the 1980's. I have found that tabaccum is good but many other remedies help as well. Just as constitutional prescribing is best I have found what effects the smoking on INDIVIDUALS is also best for long term cessation.

I also have them blow their smoke into purified (preferrd distilled) water in a very clean if not sterilized glass jar with their intention to become a non smoker. I then impregnate it on the individual remedy to their addiction pattern and ill effects from smoking.

I do a 6 month follow-up and I have a 98% success rate. I also include a free 6 month visit to keep better track of the success rate.

There are a lot of people that advertise stop smoking one visit and claim big success rate but when I asked them if they did the followup they didn't. It is important to document the followup.

Off list I will send you my intake form in hopes something on there will be beneficial for you.

Good luck,

sunny

Hi Vera,
Since smoking is also a mental habit, I find good preparation asisits in the quitting.
My suggestions: patient should carry a small notebook in their pocket, for the first week they smoke as usual, noting down the time, place and mental desires that is triggered when they want that cigarette. This helps them get in touch with their behavior triggers.
Week 2 and 3 patient smokes as usual, except never at the times, or places he smoked in week one. So, if he is used to having a cigarette after dinner, that habit must stop, he must never smoke in the house, automobile, or any other 'normal' having his cigarette place, but he can have his nicotine fix - just at a different time and place. He should still note his mental state on the notebook. This is to help with the physical habit.
Week 3 - this is the actual 'nicotine withdrawl' week, use the tobacco smoke remedy.
This plan helps with the behaviors and helps steel the mind to quitting smoking. I find it works pretty well with people who really want to stop smoking.
I do not use the alcohol, figure addict or not, it isn't necessary.
Warmly, Maria
