Aristolochia clematis

I have a client that has the dry and easily damaged skin which is
difficult to heal. Presently having excessive reaction to treatment
for solar keratosis by dry ice [not by me ] A lot fits Aristolochia
clematis as detailed in Psyche and Substance by Whitmont. As well she
has great chemical sensitivity which I do not know if the remedy
would cover. Has anyone experience of this remedy, Thank you, Jean

Just found smell lost in a search of remedy which would seem not applicable to this person. Her smell very acute. Jean

But it is a small remedy, and you don't need to see every symptom in
every patient, and could there be a polarity in the remedy... I don't
have experience with the remedy, but wouldn't eliminate it based on
that only.

Dear all,

Arist-cl is not a small remedy - really not.

Has extensive younger provings in 1993, 1997, 1998 in different
countries (see Robbins/Jansen).

And, yes, it has smell acute.

BTW:
"It is also interesting to note the theme of DISGUST / GARBAGE in this
remedy as the plant propagates itself by attracting flies to it's
flowers with the smell of garbage." (From the proving)

Thanks. Shannon, Gaby . Also have just found it mentioned in Sankaran [Insight into Plants] in the leprous miasm. Seems to fit. Passive reaction has fainting,collapse ,stupefied. These things have happened. Does withdraw and create own world/ Quite exciting! Thanks Jean

Then what's your opinion--would you (tend to) eliminate it from
consideration for a patient with acute sense of smell?

Hm, I tried to see what other smell rubrics it's in, and in my
"Complete" (from 2000) rep it has only about 550 rubrics *total*--so
very small--and "disgust" isn't there at all. Can you tell me where to
read more, or can anyone send more?
