Thanks to all who replied to my query. Very helpful. I had taken a full case, including past history of spleenic involvement and hysterectomy. The selected remedy did not include (at the time) the issue of the lipoma. Now I know I'm on the correct path, thanks to you all taking the time to provide advice and extracts. Deeply appreciated.

Here are some photographs of the homeopathic treatment of a lipoma on my son's budgerigar.

Rapidly growing lipoma was on his chest wall - about the size of a walnut. Prescribed Belladonna as indicated by behavioural issues as well as pathology. Lump discoloured within 24 hours (and one dose), smelly by 2 days, rotting by 5, drying and shrivelling over the next weeks and taking 1 -2 months (from memory) to separate from chest wall. After dangling by a stalk for a short time, it eventually fell off!
The bird was an ideal candidate for liquid dosing - being unable to fit the pilule in his beak
. Belladonna began the treatment, followed by Calc-c, and finally Silica to help the fossilised tumour separate from the chest wall. The only difficulty I had during treatment was an over-excited son giving the poor bird extra doses of Belladonna while my back was turned - not recommended! The bird loved his remedies - would shuffle up to the dropper to suck the drop off the end - maybe it was the alcohol.
I wish I had photos of the tumour before treatment but my young son (the reason why some are blurred) only began taking pictures when it was well and truly shrivelling. In the third photo you can see a little green feather still attached to the separated tumour and the fourth photo shows the cleft between the feathers where the tumour was.
Sadly, Actium (the budgie) is no longer with us - flew the coop with fright during a loud clap of thunder when we had him out of his cage one day - never saw him again.
