Namaste All
The patient , 40, female. Fair complexion, normal build. Rather
cheerful, and bright.
Recently fainted and fell down but recovered instantly. For over four
months had attacks of blurring of vision, always when heated either in
Kitchen or other means. Immediately wants to lie down, with fan on in
full speed. During night, in bed also it has happened. During some
attacks, she has felt something raising from the stomach upto the
head. Both the attacks happened at the conclusion of menses.
The last fainting (syncope), she got hospitalised, as she felt
uneasiness about the heart. The beat was irregular and the diagnosis
was Attrial Fibrillation. Mitral prolapse- rheumatic heart. BP 140/100.
The patient constitutionally has been a fan lover. Likes air blowing.
But seems chilly as can't stand cold temperaturs. Likes ghee , craves
it. Likes milk, sweets. Has had attacks of Typhoid and then pneumonia
when about 17- 20 years- both severe. Treated allopathically. Two
children. Periods prompt. For two years now, menses quite copious,
with weakness. Lumbar pain before menses. Both children caesarian
babies. After second child birth, a brown, almost honey like
leucorrhea developed, staining the inner garments, together with a
back ache( they both always together).Vagina very sensitive,
penetration painful. Gets up twice or thrice during night for
urination , the call being always urgent.
Recently about two years ago, had a acute rheumatic attack, attended
with fever, during menses. Fever abated but the swelling of the toe
and flying pains in joints started. Homeopathy did not help and pain
killers and a steroid helped then. The docs are showing a connection
for present condition to this, which I also believe. This flare up
seems obviously a metastasis of the suppressed rheumatic condition.
She is on acetrom for prevention of clots since the docs feel attrial
fibrillation is attended with risk of clots and a stroke. Also a BP
drug. Became anaemic, with copious menses.
I mistook her for a carb V patient. But, my recent search is pointing
to another drug, the one she always wanted. But, can we go about
giving her a drug she needs now ? Look at the first para. Is the
craving for air characteristic of disease or patient? Is the raising
from the stomach also characteristic ?
Your inputs most appreciated

Re: Attrial Fibrillation case
If sinus rhythm could be restored she could come off the anticoagulants and that would ease the bleeding problem. I feel the need for air must be in remedy . Cheerful and bright ??silaca when look at all the things I repertorized, Jean

Re: Attrial Fibrillation case
Yes, Thanks very much Jean.
Yesterday's consultation with another cardiologist for second opinion
threw up an altogether different picture. He confirmed my another
train of thoughts. That is the attacks are possibly seizures and
pointed out the risings - the aura. Now the patient has confirmed that
the aura starts from the legs. He has advised her to be off acetrom
and gave another. He says that seizures can sometimes disturb heart
and irregular pulse can result.
As one with little experience in treating epilepsy, I have this
question. Is the craving for air a pathological sx or separated ? I am
now having a try with Arg nit. The 6x (2 doses dry three days apart)
did not do anything. Today I already gave her the 200 c.(dry).
It has 1. gen, fanned , amel, besides, 2.fainting, menses during
and 3. rising aura from stomach (and legs- Hering)
