vaccines/thanks?+genetics?

Post by Hennie Duits »

As a parent, you don’t tell 18 year olds any more what to do, so I send
her most vaccine-mails on this list to consider, and added some
comments. Now it is up to her.
And thank you all.

While doing this, I als wondered if there are any data about the health
of children whose parents had the regular vaccination programm, compared
to those who had not. That is, for practical thoughts: if you decide to
be vaccinated, would that have consequences for the health of the
children you may be having later? I wouldn’t be surprised if there
would be sort-of genetic effects, but I don’t think I’ve heard/read
about this. Anybody?

Hennie, that seems as if it would be a possible research question with
fairly straightforward health history methodology. I was wondering the same
thing -- it seems as if someone should have done a controlled study of this
question -- if not why not? It certainly seems as though a large
organization of concerned parents ought to be able to fund it (if it hasn't
been done, the reason is that no pharmaceutical company would want to fund
it, and researchers risk major opposition fromthe "establishment" to their
careers if they undertake such a study (this has happened in the past to
scientists who have made brilliant anti-pharmaceutical discoveries that were
instantly buried, while their careers were aborted).

Hennie,
I do not know about children - but definitely in cats you see that the
kittens suffer from the vaccinations their parents had. Specifically
they are born with a smaller thymus gland - and thus lower resistance to
chronic disease, and a damaged, skewed immune system.
If the adult cat is vaccinated DURING pregnancy, the kittens can be
born with no discernible thymus gland at all!
Namaste,

Hi Irene,
Do you have observations about how vaccination's effects on the
offspring are similar to and/or different from effects of other sorts
of maternal stress, ill-health or toxicity? (E.g. offspring of a badly
stressed feral mama?) I gather that shrunken thymus is a general
effect of stress, and one that is/can be passed along (tho maybe only
if it's a long-term presence during the pregnancy)?

The fact that vaccination entails injection of toxins suggests that it
could have an even broader effect, but is that difference measurable in
a single generation?
