Hi Peter,

You are quite right not to trust me, especially since I cannot find it
again.

When I googled for it I had no idea what the stuff might be and just
repeated what I read (wherever that was). Now, after reading more I
also think that it is MOST unlikely that it has anything to do with
parsley!

Glad you corrected the matter - thanks.

Regards

Hi Shannon,
From my aromatherapy days, I learned that essential oil of parsley is not used as it can promote abortion or miscarriage. We were told that parsley was used by the "old wives" as an abortificiant. I'm sorry that I can't quote chapter and verse on the sources, but I did see printed information in a professional book on herbs and essential oils to this effect.
Interestingly enough, not long after I heard of a woman who had been trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant, and the doctors had found no cause for infertility in her or her spouse. Her co-worker mentioned to me that she eats whole bunches of parsley every day as part of her lunch... I suggested to maybe stop with the parsley but don't know what happened after!
Regards,
Vera
