Digest Number 4214

Post by Carol S. Gunn »

Hello everyone,
Can you guys please please please take this discussion offline? I have had to hit the delete button for two week straight. I am here to learn and all I am learning is how to delete, which I was already pretty adept at. I had to leave the previous homeopathy learning discussion group I was on for basically the same reason. I am beginning to think all homeopaths can do is argue over who is right! Can we please go back to education and take the arguing offline? Is there a moderator? PLEASE!
Carol

Dear Carol
Actually, if you had read John's email yesterday evening, you would have learnt a lot. Some very wise words were said!

There has been no discussion of "digest number 4214" till you started it
here actually:-)
And I do hope that when YOU have a discussion that matters to you,
people will be more polite and respect what matters to you :-)

Being a discussion list member, means putting up with everyone's
interest areas, not just yours:-) But here's a suggestion I hope you
find helpful:

You might like it better if you used individual email instead of digest.
That way you can use the technology to filter out any topic you do not
like. YOu can alsio hit the delete button easily on specific emails
instead of the entire digest.
So if a specific conversation is not of interest, and is a long one, a
filter setting just once will make it go away for you for good - without
being nasty to those enjoying the discussion who are working towards
better understanding.

There are more than a couple thousand other people here, and they may
not all have your ideas on what you want to see. They will discuss what
matters to them. Nobody has been inappropriate - you are just not
interested in the topic - it's not a reason to need a "moderator"!!!

Hope you have a good day.
Namaste,
Irene

Soroush,

Well, you made my point for me :-) I saw more of the same discussion and just hit delete. If not for all the "discussion" I might have learned something. Thank you.

Excuse me?? When was I not polite??

And I read the discussion that was so important to you for MANY days on end. I was not at all upset with YOU, In fact I agreed with the things you said and the points you made I felt were valid. I just felt that it was deteriorating (the "discussion") into something less than educational. Thank you Irene, I will leave you all to your "discussions". BTW Namaste means I greet you and I respect the holiness of your spirit and presence.

Hi Carol,

Why not start a discussion that is of interest to YOU?

I will in my next post:-)
