Sandra Perko's Homeopathy for the Modern Pregnant Woman and Her Infant
mentions:
Pulsatilla, Viscum album, and Natrum muriaticum.

Her differential is as follows:

Pulsatilla:
Pulsatilla is well known for being able to turn a breech baby. Dr. William
Schwart related that obstetricians at Dunham College once witnessed a group
of medical students change a breech presentation to normal delivery in less
than a minute by one dose of Pulsatilla C.M. "In fact," he said, "there are
several cases on record when you have a case of prolonged labor with no
progress in a woman inclined to be fat with a mild fearful disposition who
pleads with you to open the window, as she is smothering, and you think it
is a case for forceps delivery, just hunt for the forceps while your nurse
gives the patient a dose of Pulsatilla anywhere from the 30th to the C.M.
you will lay your forceps aside unless there is malformation."

Pulsatilla is the major remedy for violent and painful movements of the
fetus. She may complain that her uterus is "too heavy." Pulsatilla most
surely would be called for when the infant is not in the correct position
during the last seven to ten days prior to the due date. This is usually due
to atony of the uterus. The woman is usually weepy and somewhat depressed.
Dr. D.P. Rastogi, director of the Central Council for Research in
Homeopathy, cited a study showing that in the last week of pregnancy,
Pulsatilla given to the mother caused the mal-presented baby, in over 50% of
the cases, to turn properly for a correct presentation.

If you know the baby is in the breech position before the onset of labor,
give Puls 30 two to three times a day, for a few days until the baby turns,
or one dose of Pulsatilla 200 or 1M. Some homeopaths believe that the
remedy should not be given if the water has broken or the baby is already in
the birth canal, but a number of midwives disagree with this and contend
that the baby turning in the birth canal is far less painful and dangerous
than a mal-presented birth or hospital transport with forceps delivery.

Viscum album:
Consider this remedy if Pulsatilla fails to act in turning the baby.

Natrum muriaticum:
This remedy may aid the baby to turn from a breech position if the problem
is due to too little amniotic fluid. The mother will often have very dry
mucus membranes and dry chapped lips. She usually is the emotionally
"closed" woman with a deep-seated fear of rejection.

Perfect Lynn, thank you!!
So that does seem to indicate clearly that, in the authors' opinion,
it's the "as usual" case, that the remedy will work *when indicated* in
the patient's case. That is what I was specifically curious about.
