< medical books etc.

Lisa says:
careful to ascertain whether what they are saying is part of their disease,
or state of disposition. This is the totality. If you were to question
these people you will find that their reaction will be the same in many
other areas."

--------
Who is this "WE" to whom you are continually referring?

Also, you say (from above) "part of their disease" ?
"or state of disposition" ? .. "the totality"

*What* "is the totality? are you trying to say that a general disposition
of seeking knowledge (not light) is pathological in this (or other) case?

Which of course brings up the fact that there remains the utterly
unreasonable insistence on substituting a completely inappropriate repertory
reference for one which otherwise might "throw some Light" on the case.

It is amusing that others have noted that "desire for light" seems to be
featured in about 50% of cases of students of this "method."

Lisa:

Have you ever considered attempting to use rubrics which actually describe
the situation at hand; which don't need to be elaborately imagined into
relation with the actual symptoms?
-NO, not by a very LONG, long way.
It is COMPLETELY unclear how anyone, ever in this lifetime, could be
confused as to the proper meaning within homeopathy of the rubric "desire
for light."

Dave, Hate to break it to you this way, but "you need to get a life".
Sincerely, Nick

Hi lisa,
.
perhaps i didn't put it clearly in the last mail

what i said was a lot of anxious people will say exactly the same thing
i have had experience with patients expressing exactly the same sentiments
(need to know)

Even if we consider the expression by itself without considering the "why"
of it
- is this expression so peculiar that only ten remedies have produced it?
or in your experience, this is pretty uncommon ?
do you think only a few with the rubric anxiety for health will ask this
question ?

appropriate
"this is my nature, I have always needed to know" would make it pretty
unusual - and would make the physician curious as to the possible reasons
for *that* (insecurity ? anxiety?)
but here we are not waiting for any confirmation from the patient, are we ?
we have seen that the patient is ringing up her doctor, referring medical
books etc. and immediately selected *this* rubric - when it could have been
an expression of many things. one of the reasons could be that "this is my
nature" , but if it's such a basic nature, then we would have to see their
expression in a lot of other areas
regards,
Arun (not yet seeing the light !)
