I did notice during the Christmas break we had some rather strange rants posted and
it seems although that person ceased their animosity, the vibe has travelled...

Being part of human nature to resist change, sometimes new ideas can make us defensive. However I fail to see how 'evolved' and 'open' people can have this knee-jerk reaction to things they may not agree with.

We are all in the same boat -we all want to heal , and learn to improve our effectiveness, but we have to listen (we are in a caring profession) and not be so 'super-sensitive' that it blocks new ways of 'seeing'.

I may be naive in hoping that we can all live and let live ... but really, this LEARNING FORUM is NOT THE PLACE FOR going ten rounds in an EGO-BASH

I have found that the more established a person is, the greater the temptation to sit
back on laurels, and pass judgement on those still on the slippery slopes of learning.... as many of our heroes have stated this is a life-long schooling, no-one
is so perfect in knowledge that they can stop paying attention to lessons others may
have learnt and are sharing.

Life is complex, and in that complexity we find solace, understanding, and the mirror to our souls...nothing stands still ... so why should we ??
