Has anyone heard of anything like this:
Premature baby(33 weeks)
Mother was on methadone(they say normally methadone babies come late and
doctors don't think it has anything to do with this)(mother had become
addicted to oxicotton or however it is spelled..but stopped when she became
pregnant and started the methodone. baby born early january. Baby has been
breastfeeding
looks like lazy eye..but both eyes are having trouble tracking. worse left
eye..or problem obvious in left eye.
has what is known as micro penis
fontanelle is closing up too early..meaning the brain won't be able to grow
into head
has piled on toes...meaning they aren't separating or they are very close
together?
They are going to do an mri on the baby's brain. They suspect something is
wrong with the brain and they want mother to take baby to a geneticist.
So...anyone come across anything like this before?

Re: premature baby having problems
Hi Carol,
I have no experience on this, but my automatic connection with the
eye problems you describe was to Cyclamen as described by Didier
Grandgeorge in 'The Spirit of Homoeopathic Medicines' He describes an
underlying theme of hidden grief - a grief that can't be talked
about. It has strabismus with the Left eye most affected.
A quote which may or may not be relevant to these birth defects: "In
truth, Cyclamen would like to have a perfect unstained earthly life.
Instead there is always a defect somewhere which ruins everything.
Cyclamen then paints an even darker picture, and so adds to the
existing imperfections"
Maybe worth checking in with the mother about the locations of grief
in her life.

Re: premature baby having problems
Have just been reading Cyclamen in Sankaran's - Insights into Plants.
He gives three cases.
One has a dream of a child born with no arms or legs who did
something wrong and would be killed, so the mother protected it by
saying it was ill and would die soon. The client had feelings of
grief which couldn't be expressed, and feelings of guilt as if she
had committed a crime.
The second case describes a woman who has a 'backward' child and who
also expressed feelings of hidden grief and being responsible for
what had happened to her child.
