Distance Learning - Correspondence Course?

Post by jasonraph »

Hello,

I'm new to the group here. I'm looking for a really good distance
education program that will take me from beginner to Practioner Level.
I'm considering:

The Brittish Institute of Homeopathy

or

David Little's online course.

Cost is definitely a factor for me.

If you know anything about a good distance education school or the
ones I listed above, please contact me.

Thanks,
Aryeh

Dear Aryeh,
Both are very good. David LIttle's course would be more of a post graduate level of training. You will need to start with the basics and work towards a course such as David's.
The British Institute will give you the basics and prepare you for future studies. We also offer a practitioners package that will prepare you for this field as well.
If you have any questions you can contact me direct at info@bihusa.com
I would happy to help you

Hello Chris,
If it's in any way possible to get to classes I think that is far better than any correspondence course.
Homeopathy is simple but not easy & having that face to face contact is invaluable. (I am a tutor for correspondence students).
Isaac Golden does have a very good correspondence course though.
If you can't find him on google let me know & I'll track down the details.
Michele.

No I didn't, I studied at a college, but his classical course is highly regarded & I know people who have done the course & been very happy.
Best.

Aryeh, I am enrolled in BIHUSA and find the courses very good. Paired with Homeopathic Symposium I think it is working out great. If you are dedicated you can do correspondence with no problem. I have done both as far as schooling and don’t find much of a difference if you can study on your own. Back when I was in Med School the hands on clinical was a must but with the video cases it helps a lot for the Homeopathy. Just make sure you pick a program that offers good tutorship for the questions you might have. It sure helps me to be able to study after the kids go to bed J I don’t find homeopathy simple at all, actually it seems very complex to me. And like always you get what you pay for.
Here is a link that might help you in finding what you are looking for http://nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org/ ... tional.jsp
Thanks Kathy

Have you looked at The School of Homeopathy?
They have been doing courses for years, you can even do a mixture of
distance learning and attendance.

They have a classroom course also which you can attend live when possible.

Lou Klein also has a foundation course. His site is homeopathycourses.com (don't know how to make it a link!)
