Hi Yehudit,
The case you gave us is the typical one where the patient talks a lot
but just repeats himself. He can't tell you anything very useful for
repping the case and you don't know him very well.
I am wondering if other have lists of specifics. For example, if I
knew nothing else and someone were double over groaning with food
poisoning in front of me, I would give them ars. Doubled over maybe
Coccolcium.... Running though a list like this is anyway a good way
to review your remedies.
Isn't there a good list of what I call specifics? In Appendix B of
Introduction to Homeopathic Prescribing, S. M Gunavante gives a long
list of remedies for very specific problems. They are first aid type
problems and common diseases. His next list in appendix D is
causation. They are the first remedy that you would think of in very
specific situations. I don't have enough experience to know how good
these lists are, but the reason for the remedies that he lists seem
pretty obvious, usually.
I was listening to a wholehealthnow interview of Jeremy Sherr. He was
saying that we should always be carrying a small kit of remedies.
Unless you have some nifty electronic device with something like Kent
or Borekie (Spelling?) in it, you want to have your references in your
head.
By the way, if you want to carry remedies with you in a small light
pack, I recommend one inch or 1.5 inch square bags for packing
jewelry. I can't remember the company but it started with a "g." Buy
the clear bags 3 mm thick because they have not been weakened by
coloring. I think they were 6 dollars for 100. Use sticky labels. I
always carry some bags to give people their remedies and instruct them
to dilute. My family members all travel with my packs and a small
print out of instructions.
Blessings,
Ellen
