Plant Question
Plant Question
Hi all,
This may be a strange question. I hope someone can help. I have seen
homeopathic remedies being discussed for animals as well as plants, so that
is why I pose this question. My daughter came home distraught Friday
because her plant which she intended to give to me on Mother's Day had bent
and would not stand up. I just quickly gave it support with tape loosely
wrapped around it to keep it straighter. Anyway, maybe a Homeopathic remedy
might help to strengthen the plant. Any ideas? She said the plant was bent
a little but a girl on her bus made it worse by trying to make it stand
straighter. Also, it is a rust/yellow colored marigold and it is bent close
to the base of the plant.
Thanks so much,
Lisa

Re: Plant Question
Someone just mentioned using Arnica successfully for a plant, Lisa. I would certainly try that or Aconite, one pellet in a little water, spray and water plant with rest. Teresa (Northern VA, USA)

Re: Plant Question
I would wonder about Silica to give it more back bone ,chronic of Pulsatilla which bends easily or if bending due to getting too dry, ? Bryonia. Rescue remedy also useful in plants, Jean.

Re: Plant Question
Hi Lisa,
I wonder how the other little girl tried to make it stand straighter? Silica would presumably be the sarcode (sorry, Joy!) or Staphysagria for the trauma and effects of, I suspect, bullying. As for why it was a little bent to start with (no comment from you, either, Simon!) you might need a fuller picture. Check out Alumina (which is worse for travel amongst other highly relevant rubrics).

Re: Plant Question
calendula is the remedy required for the marigold. "...it restores
the vitality of an injured part, making it impregnable against the
forces of putrefaction." Robin Murphy. It heals where the skin is
broken as in the plant's case. Just apply the calendula solution at
room temperature to the wound. Sharon (Naples, FL))--- In

Re: Plant Question
Apart from homoeopathic Bellis Per. The Bach Flower Remedies (BFR) of great help in such situations.WALNUT is such remedies. As the plant is suffered a change like change of place. WALNUT gives protection from change and outside influences.
The second thing is to strengthening the plant, in this case the BFR's OLIVE will provide energy, as it is known to restore the strength.
